WORDPRESS SUCKS BIG TIME!… REMOVES SUSPENSION ON OUR SISTER BLOG WITH APOLOGY …BUT LOVE IS GONE!

When WP suspended our sister blog yesterday here is the reply we gave

Having waited for almost 12 hours without any reply we posted this:

OUR DEAR READERS,BEWARE OF WORDPRESS…IT BEHAVES LIKE MR BIG STUFF!

We did not stop there. We also searched the web for alternative service providers and got to know about 20 of them….willing to give the same free services and with communities not as big as WP….For sake of decency i will not post their links here.But they do exist and they can be sought out.

Above all, we restructured our blog on Blogger and posted 5 articles mainly from our WP library….But the real task was learning how to post smartly like a WP veteran…We got most of the the things needed so far,shared our posts from Blogger as we normally do on WP…. Many of our followers would have noticed this too…

Surprisingly we also got more page views per hour than we were used to at WP….Our spirits were up again and we were looking forward to great activity on BLOGGER from today when we suddenly saw this reply from WP:

After reading this we did not know whether to cry or smile.Smile because it was like being released from jail.Cry because many members of the WP community are not aware of all the silent but unnecessary efforts honest Nigerian bloggers bring to bear to prove they are genuine!.To us a suspension is not an ordinary beating with a small stick.It is more like a whiplash!.

In our case we had made lots of effort at proving we are here for what we claim to be.Firstly we indirectly showed on our WP BLOGS where our interests lie.Even on FACEBOOK and TWITTERS we ensured that our friends and followers were more than 95% Nigerian!.We wrote no personal letters or proposals for business to anyone outside Nigeria.Our academic services as can be found on our blogs are for Nigerian students taking NIGERIAN WAEC,NECO and JAMB exams.

We had our reasons for this.We did not want to be smeared with the usual silly paintbrush reserved specially for Nigerians on the net.We carefully identified blogging objectives for each blog, wrote them out publicly and gave header descriptions to each blog loud and clear.

So our question is whether WP has a special anti-spam software for all Nigerians blogging here.? What would have happened if it were our commercial blog that was suspended leading to great loss of money? Would an apology from the master have ironed things out? And supposing it happens again in futureWe should just feed on good o’l apology,smile and continue? Is that the way things work out in the real world?Or is it just because WP see a group of people as aliens from Mars?

But do we want to continue to blog here? Right now its hard to say.The love for WP is gone.And how do we put a stop to a forced but successful foray back into Blogger? Of course, we do not expect our ramblings to make any meaning to a huge set-up like WP. But they mean lots to us.They are not only a recording of how we feel right now but we hope to get some therapy from this post… and perhaps some closure to an unfortunate and definitely unjustifiable suspension.
